The children enjoyed a variety of activities during Vacation Care over the holiday break

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

Welcome back to Term 2.

Once again the children had a wonderful time in Vacation Care. Over the course of the program we had an array of different activities including Laygo, kite making, Pokémon treasure hunt, outback adventures, ANZAC Day craft, sticks and stones backyard adventure, disco and a trip to the new local cinema in Prospect. We thank all the children who joined us over the two week holiday period.

A reminder to all parents that the new child care package begins on 2 July 2018. Before this time all families are required to have a myGov account set up. If you do not have a myGov account you will be required to create one to receive the child care subsidy.

Under the new package, the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate will be replaced by a new Child Care Subsidy.

The amount of subsidy that families will receive will be based on three things:

1.            Their combined family income

2.            The level of ‘approved’ activity they undertake

3.            The type of child care service they use.

The easiest way to work out how much subsidy you may be eligible for is through the Family Child Care Subsidy Estimator which is available on their website www.education.gov.au/childcare
