Mathematics Competition
Each year, the Australian Mathematics Trust runs the Mathematics Competition which usually attracts around 250 000 students across Australasia. Students from Year 3 to 12 are invited to try the 25 problem solving questions in 75 minutes, all without a calculator!
This year Mater Dei had 17 students take up this opportunity with over 70% of our participants achieving a Certificate of Proficiency or higher.
