Well, what a time it has been for our Performing Arts program here at Sacred Heart!!
Joyful Voices, Bright Lights: Christmas Concert Success!
Last week, our students were treated to an incredible week of rehearsals and practise with the lovely and talented Laura and Ainsley from ASPA to help them prepare for our school Christmas Concert. Their dedication, creativity, and teamwork truly paid off, resulting in a performance that was nothing short of amazing.
It was inspiring to see our students step up with confidence and enthusiasm, showcasing their skills and spreading festive cheer. The joy and pride on their faces—and ours—made this a memorable celebration for the entire school community. I want to extend my sincere thanks to our entire school community for your support and to our students for making it such a memorable night.
Behind the Curtain: Our Students Take Centre Stage!
In class, our students from Year 3-6 have also been preparing for their class performances. Throughout the term, our students have delved into the world of drama and have been working with their ensembles, reading their scripts and fine-tuning their acting prowess. So far this week, the Year 3s and Year 4s (4HD and 4M) have blown us away. We can’t wait to see what the rest of our performances bring – this has been so much fun and a great opportunity for our students to experience the exciting world of drama. Please check out some pics below from our classes so far, and check with your child when their performance is – they have been encouraged to bring a costume/outfit from home to help get into character.
- Year 4: Tuesday 2nd of December and Friday the 5th (4S)
- Year 5: Thursday 4th of December and Friday the 5th (5L)
- Year 6: Wednesday 3rd of December and Friday the 12th (6T/RO)
Singing, dancing and signing off!
