Year 7 MAV Games Day

On Tuesday 23 June, four Year 7 students represented Beaumaris Secondary College at the Mathematics Association of Victoria (MAV) Games Day, hosted by Parkdale Secondary College. 

Dylan B, Raymond M, David S and Oliver T worked collaboratively to solve mathematical challenges, apply their problem-solving skills and engage in a range of fun and stimulating mathematics games throughout the day. The team achieved an outstanding result, placing first in the Team Relay event after correctly answering 19 questions and finishing third overall in the competition.

Congratulations to our students on their enthusiastic participation, excellent teamwork and outstanding representation of the college. We are very proud of their achievement.
