Year 8 Create Drama PBL
Our Year 8 Create students recently showcased their creativity and performance skills through a Drama Project-Based Learning task. Drawing on the conventions of Gothic Theatre or Magical Realism, students devised and performed original interpretations of Australian myths and legends. Through collaboration, imagination and performance, students brought these stories to life in unique and engaging ways.

Southern FM Radio Show
On Thursday 18 June, Year 8 students Matisse P and Lincoln Kerr took to the airwaves as guest presenters on Southern FM 88.3. We thank Southern FM for providing this unique opportunity to participate in a live radio broadcast, developing their communication and presentation skills while gaining valuable insight into the world of community radio and media production. Well done, Matisse and Lincoln!

Instrumental Music Soiree
Recently in Music, we had the Instrumental Music Soirée night, where students from our Instrumental Music Program were able to showcase their skills and hard work to an audience in W5. The night went very well, and a big thank you to all the students who performed on the night. It took a lot of courage!

Lunchtime Concert
Last Friday, there was another lunchtime concert, where our Year 9/10 Making the Musician class performed a few songs for other students outside W4. Thank you once again to all of the students who performed and to M De Niese for helping to set up and pack up the equipment.
All of the performances were great and were an amazing demonstration of the students’ skills!
