Careers & Pathways News

Year 10 Work Experience Week

Our Year 10 students have been exploring a wide range of industries and workplaces this week through both traditional Work Experience placements and the Alternative Work Experience Program.

Delivered in partnership with the Local Learning and Employment Network (LLEN), the Alternative Work Experience Program provided students with the opportunity to explore a variety of workplaces and industries, including social enterprises such as Brainwave Bikes, while also completing short courses in Food Handling and Barista Training.

Across the week, students have built practical skills, increased their confidence and gained valuable insights into future employment pathways.

A big thank you to all the businesses and organisations for their invaluable support and mentorship in helping our students explore future career pathways.
