ATAR Mock Examinations

I would like to extend my congratulations to all Year 12 ATAR students for their respectful conduct and diligent preparation for their recently completed mock examinations. Results and feedback will be disseminated in classes in Term Four, Week 1.

WACE Written Examinations

On Monday, 28th October (Term 4, Week 4), the WACE Written Examinations will commence. The majority of these examinations will be held on Level 5 of CQU at 10 William Street. To access their personalised examination timetables, which outline the locations of these examinations, students can log onto their SCSA student portal using the following link: https://studentportal.scsa.wa.edu.au/

WACE Practical Examinations

Before the WACE Written Examinations, some of our students will shortly be doing their best in the WACE Practical Examinations. Please note that these exams will be hosted at various schools around the Perth Metro Area for different courses. Students must ensure they read their personalised timetables carefully, which can also be found on the SCSA Student Portal. As these exams begin during the upcoming Term 3 holidays, we wish our students studying Japanese, Chinese and Drama all the very best.

OLNA - Year 9, Term 4

A reminder that families can now view their child's OLNA report on SEQTA Engage. For Year 9 students participating in the OLNA, the first of six attempts is rapidly approaching and will be administered in Weeks 3 and 4 of Term 4. As the date nears, our OLNA Coordinator, Ms Cristi Jonas, will be sharing resources with students who would like to complete practice tests. Additionally, one-to-one support for English and Mathematics homework will be offered in the Laurence Library after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Year 11 2025 Update

I would like to thank all Year 10 students for their thoughtful preparation and insight as we conducted our Year 11, 2025 Subject Selection Interviews. Engaging in conversations with students about the strategy behind subject selection to maximise their post-school pathway options was wonderful. Now that we have received each student's six subject preferences and two reserves, we will be back in touch with the 2025 Senior School Gridlines to confirm your child's choices in early Term 4. It is crucial that students spend time over the holiday break organising their notes in English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities. This will help prepare them for the Year 10 Semester Two examinations, which are fast approaching in Term 4, Week 7, and ensure they are working towards or maintaining the prerequisites for Year 11 courses.
