441 Murray St Update
Progress report on our evolving new campus
Works are now full steam ahead for the move to 441 Murray Street which will occur in Stage One from Semester Two next year - July 2025. If you walk past the site, you will see a notice signifying the building as the future home of St George’s Anglican Grammar School.
There is an air of excitement about this move now amongst students and staff alike.
The ground floor will see a variety of new administration offices, a specialist student services desk, a Year 12 Common Room and a rear courtyard for our Year 12s to gather as a cohort.
Level 1 will be the new home for our Performing Arts Department which will include a variety of teaching rooms, a Drama and Dance studio, a music recording studio, six music practice rooms and a Food Technology room which will allow us to offer Lower School electives from July 2025.
Level 2 will see us open a second canteen allowing the students to purchase food at both 50 William Street and 441 Murray Street. Level 2 will also have a terraced outdoor play area for the students to socialise at recess and lunch time. Level 3 will see the Maths Department move from CQU and there will be five maths classrooms all with writable desks and smart boards.
And finally, Level 4 will be the new home to our Science Department with five state of the art Science Laboratories as well as a Science Prep Room and Staff Office.
The walking route for students between the two campuses at 50 William Street and 441 Murray Street will see them travel together down Hay Street to Milligan Street and then turn right into Murray Street. There will be the addition of changeover times between periods to allow all students to ensure they are in their classes on time.

2025 Enrolment Reminder
Whilst we hope that every student is planning on returning to St George’s in 2025, especially with the exciting transition to our new school site from July 2025, with the Term Three holidays now upon us, this is a timely reminder that any changes of enrolment at St George’s Anglican Grammar School require a full terms notice to be given in writing or a full terms fees to be paid in lieu.
If you are planning on your child not returning to St George’s to commence the 2025 academic school year please send an email to the Principal, Mrs Tina Campbell principal@stgeorges.wa.edu.au before the start of Term Four 2024 to ensure that a full terms notice is given as per the requirements of each students Contract of Enrolment.
