A huge congratulations to George (Year 4) who represented our school and Holt District yesterday at Cross Country. George came in second in his race and will now go on to represent us at State finals. We are very proud of him and wish him the best of luck!

Grade 6’s have finished up their winter sport for the year.  They had mixed results over the course of the competition that ran on Fridays for both Netball and Football.  This all came to a conclusion with Lightning Premierships for each sport on Thursday and Friday of last week.  We had a team in each of the finals just narrowly missing out on winning and progressing to the next stage of competition.

A big thanks to Justin (Archer’s Dad, Year 6) and Jacqui (Ashleigh’s Mum, Year 6) for helping out on a number of occasions for Friday sports and also to the many staff that took turns attending with Ms Madden.  And a very big thanks to Ms Madden who attends all of these events including next Monday's Hoop Time at Waverley Stadium.  

Lastly, a big thank you to Bart (Stella’s Dad, Year 1) and Nathan (Ashleigh’s uncle, Year 6) for the very generous donation of both soccer and footy balls.  We will definitely put them to use over the winter!
