Welcome back
Our school community will welcome back Meaghan Payne. She is returning to work after taking parental leave. Meaghan will be stepping into the Learning Diversity role for term 3 and 4. She will be available Tuesday and Thursday and will be supporting staff in the implementation of ensuring we are catering to the needs of all of our students, especially those who require extra adjustments and interventions.

I’d like to thank Bec Long for her support this term to ensure our Program Support Group meetings we scheduled and requirements met. She was valuable to our whole school community as she supported both staff and parents over the last term.
Does the disability loading allocate a specific amount of money for my child?
No, the disability loading does not mean that a specific dollar amount will be allocated to an individual child. Australian Government school funding is provided as a lump sum to school authorities, which can then distribute the funding to schools according to local, needs-based arrangements.
My child has enrolled in a new school. Will they be given adjustments and included in the NCCD on enrolment?
The Disability Standards for Education 2005 say that schools are required to take reasonable steps to ensure that any educational adjustments for a student with disability are put in place within a reasonable timeframe.
