Remembrance Day

Last Tuesday, our College came together for our Remembrance Day Assembly, led with respect and sincerity by our student leaders.

The ceremony reflected on the significance of the day and included the recitation of In Flanders Fields, the Ode of Remembrance, the Last Post, and a minute’s silence.

At the centre of the stage stood a beautiful ‘field’ of poppies, handcrafted by our Year 4 students with the help of senior students Sam and Issy. Each poppy carried a handwritten message on the back - a heartfelt tribute to those who have served.

A special thank you to our Air Force Cadet students, who proudly represented Trinity in uniform, and to our talented music students for providing the moving music and songs that added so much to the occasion.

Our College Captains, Sammi and Rylan, also represented Trinity at the Remembrance Day service at St Matthew’s Church, where they joined our Head of Senior School, Mr David Smith, in laying a wreath on behalf of our community.

Lest we forget.
