Congratulations to Ella Neave and Finn Pidd who have been nominated for a Combined Area Theatre (otherwise known as CAT) award. Ella received a nomination for Best Youth Actress in a Leading Role in A Musical for her portrayal of Feargal McFerrin in Back to the Eighties, and Finn received Best Youth Actor in a Leading Role in A Musical for both his role as Corey Palmer Snr and Maui in Moana. Awards are presented early next year.
Auditioned members of the Junior Choir were honoured to be involved in this year’s Albury Chamber Music Festival! Students worked hard over several weeks on advanced choral techniques to learn a movement of Karl Jenkins’ ‘The Armed Man’. They performed with a professional orchestra and choir made up of local, nationally and internationally renowned musicians and singers (including our very own Jessie Swan and Tara Chambers), and were conducted by Maestro Mario Dobernig. It was a truly spectacular experience, and our students should be so proud – there were tears of joy in the eyes of many audience members after hearing the children sing!

The Kapooka Army Band brought energy, expertise, and exceptional musicianship to our community this week during a series of engaging music workshops, culminating in a memorable combined concert. Students had the unique opportunity to learn directly from professional Army musicians, exploring ensemble skills, technique development, and the joy of collaborative performance.
Throughout the workshops, band members worked closely with students, offering guidance, encouragement, and insight into life as a military musician. Their passion for music - and for nurturing the next generation of performers - was evident in every session.
The day concluded with a vibrant combined concert featuring both the Kapooka Army Band and our student musicians on stage together. The performance showcased not only the extraordinary talent of the visiting band but also the growth and confidence our students gained through the workshops.
We extend our warmest thanks to the Kapooka Army Band for their time, professionalism, and generosity. Their visit was truly inspiring and will have a lasting impact on our young musicians.

Our recent Peripatetic Concert provided a wonderful platform for students who undertake private instrumental or vocal lessons at Trinity to shine as solo performers. The evening highlighted the breadth of musical talent within our school, with students from a range of year levels stepping confidently onto the stage to share the pieces they have been preparing with their tutors.
Performing solo is an important milestone for any developing musician, and it was inspiring to see each student demonstrate not only technical progress but also growing musical expression and stage presence. From delicate vocal performances to dynamic instrumental works, the concert offered a rich variety of styles and showcased the dedication and hard work of our young musicians.
We extend our congratulations to all performers for their courage and commitment, and our sincere thanks to the peripatetic music tutors for guiding and supporting their students throughout the year. The concert was a true celebration of individual achievement and the thriving music culture at Trinity.
