Play Sand Asbestos Concern

You may be aware of recent reports regarding a product safety recall issued by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for certain coloured sand products that may contain tremolite asbestos, a naturally occurring form of asbestos.

We have undertaken a thorough review of our purchase records and inspected all areas of the school where such products may be used.

Our inspection confirmed that we do not have any of the recalled products on site.

Please be assured that at all times, the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We will continue to monitor updates from the ACCC and take any additional steps necessary.
