‘COLOUR YOUR WORLD’ our theme for 2025.
What a week it was! Caricature Artist Anthony Pascoe ‘kicked off the week’ with the Year 11 Art Making and Exhibiting, and VCD student workshop. The students enjoyed listening to tips and tricks on how to create a caricature drawing. They had lots of fun producing their very own drawing of a special friend, some even drew their special teacher!
JIMBO’s PHOTOBOOTH, always a hit every year, C7 buzzed with busy students selecting colourful and quirky props to create a memorable moment in time. With a spectacular backdrop, and accessory props to match, the students waited in anticipation for a freeze frame photograph.
The rich, varied and unique vibrations and bellows movements of Dave Evans’ accordion filled the air during the lunch hour. Soft delicate piano sounds created by our Westall students enriched the outdoor atmosphere. A list of the activities this year included:
Henna
Badge making
Ballooniquism
Face painting
Colourful hair and sprays
Chalk art
Jewellery making
Feel good events – DISCO dance floor
CAFÉ – Ms Read and Mr Smith
Colour War
Breakfast Club – classical music – traditional style breakfast
DREAM BEAR – INTERACTIVE – Stilt Walkers and Violinist – Peter O’Shea
I would like to extend a huge thank you to the students and staff behind the scenes. Without this crew a Festival cannot run!
