Hakea House

Hey everyone, I'm Suha, your Year 12 Hakean SRC. One of the things I enjoy about being SRC is connecting with all of you and making sure your voices are heard by brainstorming ideas.

This term has been quite eventful so far! We recently had our ANZAC Assembly, where we came together to commemorate and honour the service and sacrifice. It was a moving experience, and I'm glad we could all participate in such an important event. 

In terms of Social Service, we've been actively organising and thinking of new fundraisers to support various causes close to our hearts, such as the Hakean wristbands for only Hakeans to represent ourselves and giving them to charity. Seeing everyone's enthusiasm and generosity in making these events successful has been fantastic. We're making a real difference together!

Looking ahead, our HLT and SRC have some exciting plans. We're constantly brainstorming new ideas to enhance our House community spirit and support each other in different ways, such as bringing back Helping Hands and other types of fundraisers. If there's anything specific you'd like us to focus on or any ideas you have, please share them with us.
