Student Leaders Corner

Meet your SRC Presidents!

My name is Ahmed, and I’m currently one of the SRC presidents for 2025. A few things you show me about me are that outside of school, I enjoy reading, playing games, and staying active through exercise. These interests help me stay balanced and give me different ways to connect with others.

As SRC president, my focus is on listening to students and making sure your voices are heard. I want to help create a school environment where people feel respected, included, and comfortable sharing their ideas. Whether it’s suggesting new activities, improving communication, or raising concerns, I’m here to represent you and work with others to make our school better.

Together we will be able to make a positive change in 2025!

Ahmed Mohamed, C12

SRC President

Hi everyone, I’m Ruba, one of your SRC presidents for 2025.

You may have seen me around the school recently, or at whole school events like the swimming carnival, ANZAC assembly or badges assembly. One thing to know about me is that I love to participate in as many opportunities as possible, this includes outside of school events like volunteering or school events like Athletics Carnival & Chorals, which I hope to see you all at this term!

The main goal I want to achieve this year as your SRC president is to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to both speak up and stand up. To help you speak up, we will be asking for feedback from students and SRCs throughout this year so that we can hear everyone's amazing ideas and feedback. In order to stand up, you need to do just 1 thing: show up to every school event. By doing this, you are showing us that you are enthusiastic and excited about participating in the events happening throughout the school, and you are also able to give us ideas for the next events.

With the ability to both speak up and stand up, we will be able to thrive in 2025!

Ruba Tivendale, H12
