From the Year 2 Classroom

WOW!!! Just like that, the holidays are nearly upon us! We are definitely on the countdown, as many of us are becoming quite tired and little things can sometimes seem like very BIG things! We are working hard to keep the momentum going as we finish the term on a positive note.
We are really looking forward to Pyjama Day on Thursday, 25th June. Students are invited to wear their pyjamas to school and bring along a gold coin donation to support St Vincent de Paul.
As Term 2 comes to a close, we would like to congratulate our Year 2 students on a wonderful term of learning and growth. Throughout the term, they have worked hard to build positive relationships, develop their independence, and demonstrate resilience when faced with challenges. It has been wonderful to see the care, kindness, and support they show towards one another each day. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing them continue to flourish in Term 3.
Mr. Mullavey bought us some new tables and we are so excited! Thanks Mr. Mullavey.
We would also like to say goodbye and safe travels to one of our classmates, Millie Bott from 2M. We will miss seeing her smiling face each day, but we know she will thrive at her new school and in her new town. We cannot wait to hear all about your next adventure, Millie!
Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support throughout the term. We wish everyone a wonderful and relaxing holiday break.
Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy this special time together. We look forward to welcoming you all back for Term 3.
From the Year 2 Team,
Erica, Deanne, Maurz, Karen and Mel
