2024 VET students

2024 VET students will have received a confirmation letter with their VET course, location, time, and day. Together with this were the VET guidelines for your future reference. Can you please confirm your students’ VET course and return the bottom half of the confirmation back to the career’s office by the 21st November. There will be further information about up-and-coming orientation days for year 1 students filtering through as information is received by the VET provider.  If you have any questions about your VET course or require any clarification, please contact Tanya in the Careers department.

Work Experience 2024

The college traditionally has work experience in the last week of term 2, in 2024 this will be 24th to 28 June.  I encourage all current Year 9 students to start thinking about their work experience and making enquiries over the holidays in readiness for this in 2024. It is a popular time for work experience with several other schools in our area also completing work experience at the same time, therefor places can be competitive in popular employment sectors.

Talking work experience, I would like to congratulate Bec Howarth, for securing her 2024 work experience at the Melbourne Zoo. This is an extremely competitive position with a rigorous application process, and we are delighted for Bec, it is very well deserved. We look forward to hearing all about it!
