Regional Athletics

On Monday 9 October a team of seven students attended the Eastern Metropolitan Region Athletics. We had students representing the college from Year 8 through to Year 11, competing in a total of 9 events in both Track and Field events. 

As always, our students represented themselves and the college with respect and pride supporting and encouraging each other through the day.  

Each athlete gave their all in the events and we had a number of successes across the day.

Bella Foden – 3rd in 14 Girls Discus

Emma Foden – 2nd in 16 Girls Discus

Jacob Compton – 1st in17 Boys Long Jump, 3rd in 17 Boys Triple Jump

Jacob went on to represent the college and the region at State Track and Field held at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park on Monday 19 October finishing in 7th place.  Congratulations Jacob on your efforts, we are extremely proud of you and your achievements. 

Well done to all students and staff who were involved and supported the Interschool sport program for 2023. 

Calisthenics Competition

On Monday 23 October Abby Steele of Year 11 participated in the Royal South Street Calisthenics Competition in Ballarat. This competition was for the Seniors Division with Knox Waverley Calisthenics Club. 

Congratulation to Abby and her team who achieved Reserve Aggregate, 2nd place.
