Back to the 80s

Hi everyone, I am Jay and I am the Senior Arts Captain. Outside of performing, I have worked with the tech and crew team in our school productions. I know that a lot of people here have been involved in two or three shows. You might have been in Cabaret last year... Something really special about working in crew is the way you get to see everyone on stage grow and develop, by virtue of seeing every show anywhere from eight to fifteen times.

Something that has never failed to impress me in this show, and every show, is the way everyone has just continued to level up, so that every show is better than the last. I am looking at this group of dedicated, passionate and incredibly talented people, and I could not be more proud, especially of my fellow Year 12s and the Year 11s.

And to everyone else, I am so excited to see what you all do next, and I know that when the curtain closes tonight, the future of MGC Performing Arts will be in good hands. Congratulations, and I am so proud of everyone here tonight! Thank you for all the love and work you put into the show!

Jay Castaldo

Senior Arts Captain
