National Careers Week

Daksh K. from 7A was the lucky winner of the poem competition held during Careers Week.  Daksh was the lucky winner of a pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

With all the careers that currently exist, 

For some there appear ones in front that have blissed.

In front of their face and into their eyes,

Doing their job for the ultimate prize.

The money is the one that pulls the strings,

The one that brings all the things,

Leading you to do the work,

Which can sometimes make you go berserk!

The doctors, dentists and teachers,

Of whom all have their own little features!

The coders, builders and electricians,

Of course they have a lot of big missions!

The schooling is the one that decides your career,

Which assists you in life for all your future gear!

So make sure you try to do very good,

Because in all seriousness, you really should!
