Intermediate Sport 

The Year 9 and 10 students are by far the most enthusiastic year levels, when it comes to signing up for sport. On the morning of a sports day it is great to see the gym full of students, eager for the day ahead. On Wednesday 21st May, Chelt.Sec were represented by two girls netball teams, one boys football team, two girls badminton teams, two boys badminton teams, one girls soccer team and one boys soccer team. What a busy day! Thank you to the staff who have taken the time to coach teams and have training sessions, your time is much appreciated.

Intermediate Netball

Congratulations to our Intermediate Netball Girls 'A' team on winning the Beachside Division. The team progress to the Southern Metropolitan Region in August. Well done to the 'B' team on a very close game in the Beachside final, missing out by one point to Mentone.

Event planning

This term, our excursion policy and Compass events have been tightened, in particular, the time that events need to be consented to and paid for. Thank you for your understanding, as we work with these new timelines. These timelines have been put in place to ensure that all processes of event planning can be met. Beachside Cross Country 

Well done to the 17 students that nominated themselves for the Beachside Cross Country event. Out of 17 runners, 12 students will now compete at the Southern Metropolitan Regional event on Wednesday 25th June. This will be a timed event, which our runners will appreciate.

Chelt.Sec Flyers

Look what arrived in the mail! Congratulations to our Beachside winners in Term 1 and Term 2. We still have Year 8 and 7 sports to come, so hopefully a few more flags will be coming our way. Well done to Riley A., who received the medal for the Boys Swimming 14-year Beachside Division Champion.
