On Tuesday 20th May, our Year 11 Music students took to the stage for their first major concert of the year! We were also proud to feature a special performance from one of our Year 12 Contemporary Music students,Ruby C., who shared a ten-minute excerpt from her end-of-year recital program.

In the lead-up to the event, the Year 11s demonstrated not only dedication to their practice but also a strong sense of camaraderie, encouraging one another through rehearsals and nerves. For some, it was their first time performing in front of a live audience, and they displayed tremendous courage and resilience. 

The evening was made even more special by the generous support from the instrumental teachers and the Cheltenham community. Families, friends, past students, and current Cheltenham Secondary College students all came along to show their encouragement. Supporting performers Dominique R. and Isabella M. added to the musical richness of the night, while Layla M. captured the evening through photography.
