Avenues Exchange

Our Avenues Squad have been hard at work, training and practising for their events. Ball games, for the Captain's Games event, have seen the football oval brimming with excitement at lunchtime and before school training sessions. Our music team performed for the squad this week, encouraging enthusiasm and crowd participation. Our debate team have appreciated the advice and coaching from the Debaters Association of Victoria.

With just four weeks to go, there is still a lot to be organised. In the coming week, our teams will be finalised and our billets (hopefully) placed. Billeting 75 students from South Australia is difficult. All squad members are strongly encouraged to billet an Avenues student so that we can continue this long-running tradition and keep the Exchange going for many years to come. 

Billeting is not restricted to just Avenues Squad members, and we ask any family in our Chelt.Sec community to support this program. If you are in a position to host an Avenues student from May 30th - July 4th, please reach out to Karly Hargreaves har@cheltsec.vic.edu.au

Avenues Squad members are reminded that the college values are expected to be displayed at all times. This includes your attitude to your academic studies and your behaviour. Maintaining your personal best in all aspects of school will help you to retain your place on this squad.
