MCG Tour Excursion

During our excursion for Year 11 PE, we had the opportunity to do a tour of the MCG, where we learnt about its history, and significance in Australian sport. We explored different areas of the stadium, and got to experience various exhibits there. We also got to watch the Collingwood AFL team during their footy training, and were able to see examples of the physics and athletic based science we have been learning about in our current unit. Overall, it was a really interesting experience, and was very beneficial to my overall understanding of what we've been learning.

For Year 10 HAPE classes, we had the opportunity to venture outside the classroom and visit Melbourne's biggest stadium, the MCG. We were able to explore the grounds - both above and underground - to see where some of the largest concerts were performed and best athletes have played. This excursion taught us the history of sporting in Melbourne, while keeping it fun and entertaining for us all.
