House Drama

On September 10th, our annual House Drama performances took place, reflecting months of planning into one spectacular show. As always, each house had a devised and scripted performance, one created entirely by students and the other a part of a chosen piece, this year’s play being ‘Unicorn Girl’ by Madelaine Nunn. 

The audience was nearly full and the nerves were high as we started the night with Rothwell, followed by Blackwood, Kororoit and Apollo. The months of planning and countless rehearsals culminated in an amazing performance which stretched beyond the stage into prop-making, tech crew and backstage helpers.

The results were announced at the end with Rothwell winning Scripted and Blackwood winning devised, with Blackwood as the overall winner for the night having a well-deserved win. We would all like to thank Ms Kinnane, Mr Hart and all the staff who made this event possible, from the tech support to the supervisors, we couldn’t have done this without you. 

We are extremely proud of everyone who took part and hope that next year will turn out just as well.
