Grade 3 News

This term, our class has enjoyed reading Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. As we finished the novel, students reflected on the themes of friendship, kindness, loyalty, and courage. They shared their favourite characters and memorable moments and engaged in thoughtful discussions about the lessons Wilbur and Charlotte taught us. 

Over the last few weeks, students successfully completed our Addition and Subtraction unit. They developed their problem-solving skills by using bar models and number lines to represent and solve a variety of mathematical worded problems. We are continuing on our fast fact recall of addition and subtraction problems in our Facts on Fire!
