SSV INNER NORTH/MERRI-BEK DIVISION ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to our six outstanding St Fidelis athletes who represented the Coburg District at the SSV Inner North/Merri-Bek Division Athletics Championships on Friday 11 September.

After achieving 1st or 2nd place in their respective events at the SSV Coburg District Athletics Championships, these students earned the opportunity to compete against some of the best young athletes from across the division. They should be extremely proud of their achievements, with each student demonstrating determination, skill and commitment in their respective athletics event.

Congratulations to our athletes and their results:

• Hunter F – 10 Boys Long Jump – 4th
• Lillian S – 10 Girls Shot Put – 4th
• Florence M – 11 Girls Triple Jump – 9th
• Elizabeth F – 11 Girls Shot Put – 3rd
• Tommy G – 11 Boys Discus – 5th
• Skyler F – 12 Boys Shot Put – 1st & 200m – 2nd

A special congratulations to Skyler, who has achieved an outstanding result by qualifying for the Northern Metropolitan Region Athletics Championships in Term 4. Skyler will compete in both the 200m and Shot Put, representing the Inner North/Merri-Bek Division at the next level of competition.

We are incredibly proud of all six students for their efforts and for representing St Fidelis and the Coburg District with such enthusiasm and determination. Well done!
