Walk to School Fortnight

We received some wonderful news this week from Whitehorse Council this week about our Walk to School Fortnight which was held in the last 2 weeks of October:

"We are delighted to announce that Vermont Primary School had the highest percentage of walks and will receive an active travel prize that will hopefully get even more students choosing to walk scoot or ride to school!"

Thank you to all of the students who walked, scooted or rode to school every day or a few days each week. We enjoyed some healthy fruit in our classrooms during the second week, reduced the number of cars driving to school and we have all helped make our school very active! Well done everyone!
