Important Dates

Tuesday 12th December - Grade 1 Transition Day

Thursday 14th December - Class Party Day & Kris Kringle

Friday 15th December - Final Assembly

Friday 15th December - Christmas on the Lawn

Tuesday 19th December - Final Day of School - finish at 1:30pm

Class Party & Kris Kringle

Class party day will be happening on Thursday 14th December. We are encouraging kids to bring in a plate of food to share with the class. We are unable to heat up food in the classroom so if you wish to provide hot food (e.g. party pies/dumplings etc) please drop it off. We will be eating at around 12.30. 

If you are making something to send in please include the ingredients. Remember that we endeavour to be a nut free school, this includes anything with peanut oil or peanut products.

Students still need to bring their snack on class party day and if they are not participating with the party food they should bring a packed lunch. Students may also wear a festive accessory such as a Santa hat or headband, however school uniform is still required. 

If you wish for your child to participate in Kris Kringle, please purchase a small gift (no more than $5) that any Foundation student might like to receive. The gift should be an item that a child of any gender would enjoy. Wrap it and have your child bring it in before 14th December. Make sure your child knows to show it to their teacher to have their name ticked off the list and that they recognise their own gift to avoid selecting their own accidentally.

USB for class videos

Each teacher has made a video of all the photos taken this year! If your child would like this memento, please bring in a USB so it can be put on there. Your child may not get it back on the same day, however it will come home with them within 1 to 2 days.

Library Books

If your child has any Library books at home, can they please be brought back to school as soon as possible. 

Grade 1 Transition Day

On Tuesday 12th December, students will find out who their Grade 1 teacher will be next year! They will spend the day with their teacher getting to know them and completing fun activities. Students will still need to line up at our normal spots at the start of the day, and will be dismissed as usual from the same spot.

Vermont Views

Miss Strachan and Miss Abrahams would like to remind you that The Vermont Views magazine is still available for purchase on Qkr! This is a great keepsake of 'the year that was' and a fun way to track your child's journey through their school years. Orders have been extended and the final day to purchase the school magazine will be next Friday 8th December.

Melbourne Zoo Excursion
