Beginner Band Camp 

Over three busy days in Harrietville, our beginner musicians immersed themselves in rehearsals, sectionals, small group work, and individual practice as they developed their musical skills and confidence. Students tackled brand new notes, rhythms, and ensemble pieces, making incredible progress in a very short amount of time.

But camp is about much more than music. Students also learned valuable life skills including teamwork, independence, organisation, responsibility, and resilience. From packing instruments and loading buses to cleaning cabins and supporting one another throughout the camp, our students represented the school community beautifully.

There was also time for fun and connection, with walks to the park, movies, games, and plenty of laughter shared along the way.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, attitude, and growth shown by every student across the camp. 

A huge thank you goes to our dedicated staff, helpers, and volunteers who made the experience possible, and to the wonderful team at Feathertop Chalet for looking after us so well during our stay.
