Two Day Hike and Overnight Camp
Year 10 Outdoor Education students recently completed a two-day hike and overnight camp in the stunning Warby-Ovens Ranges. Despite wet weather on the first day, students trekked 10km carrying full packs before setting up camp, cooking dinner, and enjoying an evening around the campfire.
With clearer skies on day two, students packed up camp following “Leave No Trace” principles and continued their journey via Kwat Kwat Lookout and Salisbury Falls.
The experience challenged students both physically and mentally, helping to build resilience, teamwork, confidence, and lasting friendships while exploring the natural beauty of our region.
