🏸 Badminton

A fantastic day at the School Sport Victoria Upper Hume Badminton Championships, with both our Senior and Intermediate Boys teams finishing runners-up.

The Seniors finished 2–1, defeating Victory Lutheran College and Wodonga Senior Secondary College, led by top seed Mark Joseph Sitoy, with strong support from Luka Hildebrand, Emilio Miliankos-King and Oscar Benson.

The Intermediates were outstanding, finishing 3–1 with convincing wins over Victory Lutheran College, Wodonga Senior Secondary College and Wodonga Middle Years College. Teo Valle and Noah Anderson led the way, while the all-Year 9 team stepped up brilliantly in the absence of our Year 10 players.

Congratulations to all 16 players on a great effort. Thank you to the umpires, opponents, organisers, Kev McGennan for the photos, and Newmo for coordinating another successful day of sport.
