Grade 2 News

Well done to Grade 2 Clarke for winning the Bernie Trophy this week.
Our Grade Two students enjoyed an excursion to the Wangaratta Art Gallery and Museum.
At the museum, the students explored a range of artifacts and learnt about the local history of Wangaratta.
During our visit to the Art Gallery, students looked at the work of local artist, Matthew Harris. They also made their own goanna using wool, pipe cleaners, and stuffing.
This was an enjoyable experience for all.
We continue to read our novel, the 27th annual hippopotamus race.
Next week we will start looking at ‘The Little Refugee’
In Numeracy, we are learning about fractions.
