Instrumental Music Term 4 Concerts & Re-enrolments for 2026
Congratulations to all our instrumental students who performed at our various Soirees and showcases this term and to everyone who came to support them.
Our Ensemble Concert on Wednesday, 15 October featured our Junior, Middle and Senior Rock Bands as well as our Jazz band. Thank you to Andy Clarke (Rock Bands) and Tony Hicks (Jazz Band/Orchestra) for all their work leading these ensembles this year.
Our String Soiree on Tuesday, 21 October featured students of Lore Burns (cello) Keely Moggach (Violin) and Les Gyori (Violin), thank you so much.
Thank you to our wonderful Voice teachers, Susan de Jong and Ellyce Calder, for Vocal Showcase on Wednesday, 29 October, featuring our voice students as well as our Choir and A’capella Choir.
On Thursday, 30 October we had our Halloween Piano Soirees, with students and staff getting into the spirit in choice of music and costumes.
Best Bow Competition Winner: Maya Schuffelers
Best Costume winner: Allegra Jones.
Best use of Prop: Frances (skull) and Jolie (scythe)
Thank you to our piano teachers Hayden Dun, Karen Doyle and Katrina Halliday.
Finally, our performance season culminated with our Drums and Guitar concert on Wednesday, 19 November. Thank you to our teachers Marissa di Marzio (Drums) and Andy Clarke (Electric, Bass and Acoustic guitar)

Vocal Showcase
Congratulations to all our voice students, MGC Choir and A’Cappella Choir for their wonderful performances at the Vocal Showcase on Wednesday 29 October.
