VCE Season of Excellence 2026
Cate Eimutis has been shortlisted for the prestigious Top Designs exhibition, which showcases outstanding secondary school design folios from across Victoria. Each year, only a select number of exceptional VCE students have their work displayed at the Melbourne Museum in this highly regarded public exhibition. This is an outstanding accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of Cate’s achievement. We wish her the very best of luck and hope to see her incredible bakery design featured next year.
In addition to Cate’s shortlisting for Top Designs, Media student Lucy Christensen’s short film Seven By Nine has been shortlisted for Top Screens. Her film is a Sergio Leone inspired spaghetti western that follows a lone bounty hunter in search of his next contract. Being shortlisted for Top Screens is a remarkable personal achievement and signals that her work is among the best media films produced state wide this year. Congratulations to Lucy, and we eagerly await the final announcement!

VCE Art Design and Media Exhibition 2025
Congratulations to the talented students from Unit 4 Art Making and Exhibiting, Media, Visual Communication Design, and Product Design and Technologies for their incredible work showcased in the VCE Art Design and Media Exhibition. With 96 creative pieces on display, this exhibition stands as a significant event for our school community, bringing us together to honour the artistic, technical, and creative achievements of our students.
The opening event was a wonderful gathering filled with parents, family members, and friends, all coming together to celebrate the dedication and talent displayed in this exhibition. This event is special to us because it showcases not only the finished pieces but also the creative journey each student has experienced over the year. Every artwork reflects personal growth, the challenges faced, and the new skills developed along the way. This exhibition is not just about the finished product; it represents the process, the experimentation, and the perseverance each student has demonstrated in bringing their ideas to life.
On behalf of the Visual Arts and Technology teams, I would like to extend our thanks to the exhibiting students for the privilege of being part of each of their individual creative journeys.

Year 7 Visual Art
Our Year 7s did a fantastic job on their acrylic art project this term. Working with the theme of cityscapes, landscapes, or creative blend of both, students explored colour, layering and brushwork to bring their ideas to life. The results were bold, imaginative and full of personality. Well done to everyone for their enthusiasm and stunning artworks.
