As this is our final newsletter for the year, we want to extend a big heartfelt thank you to our amazing MECS community for your ongoing support of the Scholastic Book Club!

What many may not realise is that every purchase you make through Book Club directly benefits our school. Thanks to your enthusiasm for reading, MECS has received over $450 in Scholastic rewards this year. These funds have allowed us to purchase a range of wonderful educational resources for both our Kinder and Primary students, resources that will be enjoyed, explored, and well-loved for years to come.

We’d also love to shine a light on two incredible volunteers who make Book Club run smoothly behind the scenes: Berit Faurby-Dahl and Tamara Kuzma. This dedicated duo of mums generously give their time to organise, distribute, and deliver catalogues and orders to classrooms throughout the year. Their cheerful service is a blessing to our community, and we are so grateful for their willingness to support MECS in this practical and meaningful way.

Thank you once again to everyone who plays a part, big or small, in fostering a love of reading across our school.
