Instrumental Music

This year, our MGC Parents' Association has made it possible for us to expand our instrument collection for our Orchestra. Due to their generous grant, we have been able to purchase a new bass trombone, piccolo and ¾ ‘cello and violin for younger students.
The bass trombone is pictured being played by one of our trombonists, Aarna Mehta, who is also playing in the Orchestra for the upcoming Victorian State School Spectacular! Our new piccolo is being played by Maddie Parker, one of our flautists and a Year 10 Music student. The violin is being played by Emily Pilepich, who is doing Year 12 Music, pictured with our Violin teacher, Keely Moggach. Our new ‘cello is being played by Milly Bainbridge, pictured with our ‘Cello teacher, Lore Burns.
Another huge thank you to the MGC Parent’s Association for their incredible support of the Instrumental Music program at MGC.
