MGC Alumni

On Monday 18 August, we were privileged to have 23 Alumni return to MGC to speak with our Year 12 students, sharing their university, career and personal experiences since graduating. 

Beginning with a panel discussion in the theatre, where five MGC alumni shared their post high school journeys, challenges and successes, and provided valuable advice to our students. After the panel, students moved into break-out rooms focused on specific fields of study, such as arts/law/international relations, science, health sciences, business, and more. In these focused groups students were able to ask specific questions as the alumni offered valuable insights into university choices and career paths.

The year 12s have reported the insights shared by the alumni have given them more confidence with their university preferences and feel inspired by their success, passion and experiences. When you can see it, you can be it!
