Year 12’s – this is the final newsletter item that you will ever have to read! The Year 12 Team and your teachers over the past 6 years want to take this opportunity to celebrate the achievements, the growth and the memories you have all made. From your first day of high school in 2020, you have done your best to show resilience, determination and positivity to those around you but for many, there is still more work to come!
For some, your journey with Horsham College has already come to an end with several teachers signing classes off as satisfactorily completed while for others, you are now looking ahead to the end of year exams. Regardless, everyone can look forward to the celebrations that come with officially completing secondary school!
Some important notices:
Graduation – Monday December 15th @ Horsham Town Hall. More information to come.
Exams – Running from Tuesday October 28th to Wednesday November 19th. Due to some works occurring at the front of the Dimboola Road campus adjacent to the Maroske Hall, some of the end of year 12 exams will have to be moved. Any exams occurring from Tuesday October 28th to Friday November 7th will still take place in the Maroske Hall. All exams after this date (Monday November 10th to Wednesday November 19th) will take place in the VM Building that is located on High Street North, adjacent to the Horsham Special School. Students are to park their cars in the Year 12 Carpark and then walk to the VM Building. Enter the building via the back entrance as the front entrance will be locked.
Reminder that all students need a pathway on their exit form. If that pathway is employment, a letter of offer from your employer must be included.
We hope that you enjoy your final few days of school! Remember normal classes run on Monday and Tuesday of Week 3. Appreciate these days, have fun with each other and make final memories at Horsham College; however, you need to be in your classrooms during class time on these last two days.
