Year 11 News

Study Day - Week 3

Students should be using this day to catch up on work and prepare for their Year 11 exams. If you are still sitting on Ns for some classes, please come into the study to use this day effectively.

 

HeadStart - Weeks 7 & 8

HeadStart begins week 7 and is an essential part of Units 3 and 4. More information about classes and timetables will be available in Week 6.

 

HeadStart isn’t an optional two weeks to get ahead of your Year 12 studies; it is the first two weeks of Year 12 subjects. There is essential information delivered during HeadStart and work activities that will set you up for success in Year 12. The final day of attendance for Year 11 students in 2026 is Friday 28th November. 

 

VET

VET classes usually wrap up around the 29th of October. Ensure you are communicating with your VET trainer about the work you need to have completed by that time.

 

Year 11 Exams - Week 6

Year 11 Exams will run in week 6; there are no scheduled classes this week, just exams. A schedule will be provided to students closer to the week of exams. VCE-Vocational Major students are not required to complete exams, however may be required at school to complete coursework should they still have work to submit. 

 

Hats!

It’s sun season; please wear a school hat or remain in shaded areas. Hats can be purchased from the administration office if yours has gone missing over the winter months. 

 

Congratulations! The following students have received trainer awards for their outstanding year in their VET studies. They have been nominated and awarded from all of the students in the VET cluster, for their excellence in their chosen VET course. These students will be presented with their awards at our next year level assembly.
