🎉 UNO Tournament Has New Champions! 🎉

Wow! What a tournament! Eight teams of two players gathered over three lunchtimes to play mystery UNO games — no one knew which version they’d be playing until they sat down!

There were loads of laughs, cheers, and smiles all round, but on the third day, we crowned our new 2026 UNO Champions — 🏆 Charlie C. and Miranda K. 🏆 Charlie and Miranda each received a $10 canteen voucher for their well-deserved win.

The final battle was fierce, but Charlie and Miranda managed to hold on to clinch victory over the strong runner-up team, Joe W. and Shayne J. Joe and Shayne didn’t go home empty-handed — they each received a $5 canteen voucher for their fantastic effort.

👏 A huge thank you to everyone who competed and came along to cheer on their friends! 👏

💼 Year 10 Work Experience at HC Library

In the last week of Term 3, our Year 10 students took part in another round of work experience. The HCCB Library was delighted to welcome Aden back for his third placement this year! 🙌

Aden now knows the library inside and out and tackled his duties with enthusiasm. 💪 His favourite task this time was cataloguing — he worked through the non-fiction collection, updating older catalogue records with new call numbers and genre classifications. 🗂️✨

Thank you, Aden, for all your hard work and assistance in keeping our library organised and up to date! 👏📖
