Sport: Murray Bushrangers Selection for Kaity Ford

Our Merriwa House Captain and Captain of our Junior Girls school Football team that was runner-up at Hume Region last year, will play 2 matches for the “Bushies” in March, in Bendigo and Melbourne as part of the Coates Talent League.

Still just 14, the Wangaratta West Primary School alumni is one of just a handful of “bottom-agers” in the 26-girl squad, which means she can play again next year as well.

Also a talented Basketballer, Kaity has also played a season in the Victorian Junior Basketball League for the NE Bushrangers, and a number of years playing for the Wangaratta Basketball Inc Warriors.

The Corowa Rutherglen player in 2024 was also represented the school in 13 different Sports - the most of anyone in the school.Older brother Tom was part of a Bushrangers North East Border U15 V-Line Cup team in 2022.
