TERM THREE IN FOUNDATION!
What a busy and exciting term we have had! The Foundation students have celebrated their much anticipated 100 Days of Learning, participated in their very first school production, celebrated their love of reading through Book Week, had a special visit from the local police and particpated in Personal Passions Day!
100 DAYS OF SCHOOL CLEBRATIONS!
On Friday 24th Of July the Foundation students celebrated their much anticipated 100 Days of School! During the day they completed a variety of 100 themed activities with a focus on counting, skip counting and place value. The day was a huge success and the students had a fun day learning all about the number 100! The student’s dressed up in ‘100’ themed attire to help celebrate the day. They looked AMAZING! We had many creative outfits including a variety of 100 year old’s and 100 themed outfits. What a fantastic day it was!
BOOK WEEK CELEBRATIONS!
We had such amazing and imaginative costumes to cellebrate our love of reading. Well done to all the parents/carers who created the amazing costumes for their children. The theme for this years Book Week was 'Symphony of Stories.
BOOK WEEK POLICE VISIT!
The Foundation students had the opportunity to meet a local police woman, Leading Senior Constable Ashlee Prowse. During the session, the students had the opportunity to listen to a story about the important work police officers do in our community and they learned that police officers are friendly, safe and approachable people who are there to help and support us. They were able to see all the interesting things that police carry on them and how heavy their vests are, as well as go inside the police car and press the button to sound the siren!
PERSONAL PASSIONS DAY!
We have has such an amazing Term 3! We hope you have a well deserved break and will see you in Term 4 for our last term of Foundation!
