Year Two

We are very happy to be partnering with you in 2026, and welcome your input:

When communicating with the Year Two team, please reach out via the below email addresses. Your child's class teacher is your first point of contact when requiring a discussion. You will usually see us outside the classrooms at the end of the day. This is the preferred time to catch us for a quick chat as we are focused on greeting the students before school.

Please also note that we have scheduled meetings at 3.45pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Term Three Overview

What a busy and exciting term we have had, filled with learning and memorable school events. Students enjoyed participating in a range of special occasions, including our Father's Day afternoon, Book Week Activities, Personal Passions Day and the highly anticipated school production of "The Wizard That Was". These events provided wonderful opportunities for students to connect with the school community and create lasting memories.

Inquiry - Marble Runs

During our Inquiry unit, which focused on Design and Technology, students explored the challenge of designing and building their own marble runs. They investigated different structures, including tunnels and bridges, and experimented with ways to reinforce, strengthen and improve their designs.

Through this hands-on learning experience, students had the opportunity to apply their creativity, problem-solving skills and understanding of design principles. They tested their ideas, made adjustments and learned from both successes and challenges along the way.

This engaging, hands-on unit has been a real highlight for the students, who have thoroughly enjoyed designing, building, testing and refining their marble runs.
