Restricted access to school grounds during the September/October term break

Over the upcoming term break, we continue to undertake improvement works across our school.  Please be aware that during the term break, access to the school will be impacted for the entire two week period, as detailed below:

NO ACCESS to Morris Road play area or the Junior playground area

The following works are scheduled to occur:

  • Paths of egress – concrete paths will be laid to join the existing junior playground to the new Riley Road basketball court area during the two weeks of school holidays.  Gates at Morris and Riley Roads will be locked to restrict access whilst these works are being completed.
  • Riley Road play surface and area- asphalt will be laid by 10th October 2026.  Unfortunately the ground has been to wet to lay the asphalt, which has led to a delay in our grand opening.
  • Staffroom- our staffroom is being expanded and upgraded over the coming six weeks to provide a new 'professional learning' space for our growing staff.
  • Internal student toilets – a full refurbishment of the toilets opposite our current Year One classrooms will commence Saturday 19th September 2026. We are excited to share that this project will complete our bathroom renovations across the entire school. We are allowing four weeks to completion of this particular stage.

In addition to the above improvements, we continue to undertake scheduled maintenance works over the term break which involve laying of new carpet within selected classrooms, and painting of selected classrooms.
