Capital Works Update

We have exciting news to share about our school upgrade project!

In the 2026–27 State Budget, the Victorian Government invested $24.005 million to upgrade and modernise our school, including an upgrade of the main classroom wing.

We are pleased to announce that McIldowie Partners has been appointed as the Principal Design Consultant for the project. We will now work with McIldowie Partners and the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to progress planning and design for the project. 

There was a buzz of excitement this week as members of the McIldowie Partners and VSBA teams joined our School Council on Monday night, introducing themselves and outlining the next steps in the project. Their their first (of many) stakeholder group meetings took place on Wednesday, talking with and listening to the perspectives of our School Improvement Team (SIT).

Over the school holidays, the project team from McIldowie and the VSBA will be onsite beginning site inspections and gaining an understanding of the condition and specifications of our buildings and facilities, while doing further research into our school. In the early weeks of Term Four they will be providing opportunities to gain the input and perspectives of students, staff, School Council and the wider community through a number of workshops and activities. Keep an eye out for how you can be involved!
