Green Team

This term, the Green Team has been busy fundraising through our can and bottle collection scheme. Our students have worked hard to raise awareness of the campaign by creating the catchy slogan “Collect Cans, Collect Cash!” and designing wonderful posters to spread our message throughout the school.

So far, we have raised $120.70! That’s 1,207 containers recycled.

We will continue fundraising for more Green Team projects throughout the year, so keep those plastic bottles and cans coming!

🌱 New Plants Have Arrived!

We have also been eagerly awaiting a delivery of plants from our application to the Trees for Schools Program. The plants finally arrived, and we were very excited to get planting last week in our Inclusive Play Space.

We also scattered a range of wildflower seeds, so keep an eye out for some beautiful blooms popping up later in the year! 

🌿 Help Us Care for Our New Garden

Our new plants need time to settle in and grow, so we are asking everyone to help us look after them. Please keep off the garden beds and take care not to step on or damage the new plants. This will give them the best chance to grow strong and healthy.

The Green Team will be caring for the plants, watering them and keeping an eye on their progress. We can't wait to see our new garden grow and bring more colour and life to the Inclusive Play Space!
