School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our last newsletter for Term Three. We hope everyone has had a great week. Here are a few highlights from the past two weeks:

We returned to hats two weeks ago! It’s great to see everyone being safe, kind and respectful by being SunSmart. Just a reminder to bring your hat for the rest of this year! 

Last Friday was Footy Day! Footy Day is where all the school participates in football events. Also you get to wear your favourite football jersey. Either rugby, soccer or AFL. It was amazing to see everyone wearing their jerseys and to go around participating by playing in our AFL and soccer games. Also just a big thank you to all of the House Captains and some of the Year Fives who helped in our Footy Day activities.

Another sports update is Divisional Athletics. There were a handful of students competing in Divisional events on Wednesday. Congratulations to all the students who competed and gave their best.

As we approach the end of Term Three we as Captains would like to say a huge thank you to all our parents, teachers and staff for helping us learn in the best way possible. Even if it is dropping us to school, or staff checking in on us during lunch. Every day you help us be the best versions of ourselves. 

We hope everyone has an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see you all on Monday in two weeks!
