The Brunsibald Prize Semester 1

Each year, our Year 7 students are invited to take part in the Brunsibald Prize Portraiture Competition – a highlight of the Art program.
BSC Year 7 curriculum sees our youngest cohort enjoy a semester long art program. As part of their studies the students explore portraiture, and the Art faculty select around 20 standout pieces as finalists for the Semester 1 Brunsibald Prize competition. These artworks were then showcased in F Block, where staff and students could enjoy the display and vote for their favourite.
Once again, the quality and creativity on show was outstanding. The competition is a wonderful way to celebrate our students’ talents as well as to bring the school community together.
We are delighted to share the results of Semester 1 competition and heartily congratulate not only our finalists, but all the students who tackled the project!
